A registered trademark gives you the exclusive legal right to use your mark, the power to stop copycats, and a brand asset that grows in value over time. We handle the search, the filing, and — where you need it — every stage through to approval.
Of your mark for the goods and services you register it under.
Take legal action against anyone who copies or imitates your brand.
Use ® once registered, and ™ from the day we file, while pending.
Protection for 10 years, renewable indefinitely in further 10-year blocks.
Two independent choices determine what your trademark protects — and what it costs.
Our recommendation: a composite protects only the combined lockup — not the name or logo on their own. For brands serious about protection, we usually advise filing the wordmark and logo as two separate applications.
Trademarks in India follow the international NICE Classification of 45 classes — Classes 1–34 cover goods, 35–45 cover services. You register only for the class(es) that match your business. A few examples:
The government fee is charged per class. We help you identify exactly which class(es) you need — so you neither under-protect nor overpay.
Both packages are charged per application — per mark, per class. Our professional fee is separate from the government fee.
A note on government fees. These are charged per class, per application, by the IP India Registry — separate from our professional fee. If you register as an MSME (Udyam) or DPIIT-recognised startup, your government fee is effectively halved: ₹4,500 instead of ₹9,000 per class. We can help you obtain Udyam first — it's free and quick — so you file at the lower rate.
The path every application follows — and where each package's support applies.
We screen the IP India database for conflicts before filing, to reduce the risk of objection.
Both packagesApplication filed; number and filing date issued the same day. ™ usable immediately.
Both packagesThe Registry examines the mark and issues an Examination Report — accepting it, or objecting under Section 9 (too generic) or Section 11 (too similar).
If objected, a reasoned reply must be filed within 30 days. Missing it can cause the application to be treated as abandoned.
BundleIf the written reply doesn't satisfy the examiner, the matter is listed for a hearing before the Registrar.
BundleOnce accepted, the mark is published in the Trade Marks Journal for public review.
For 4 months from publication, any third party may oppose. If unopposed, the application proceeds.
The Registration Certificate is issued and you may use the ® symbol. Protection lasts 10 years, renewable.
Once you confirm your package and pay the advance, we'll share a short Intake & Requirement Form. In brief, we'll need:
Filing and acknowledgement happen the same day. You can start using ™ immediately.
